The panel will address the responsibility of the agri-food system for greenhouse gas emissions and the global erosion of biodiversity. Some of the themes will be the homogenization of global production and consumption patterns, the supremacy of ultra-processed foods and the environmental and geopolitical risks of agricultural production. The panelists will discuss Brazil’s role as a major exporter of meat and grains and the importance of diversity in transforming the global agri-food system ahead of the G20 Summit.
