Teresa Zhang, started at the Tianfu Garden Farm (God's Grace Garden) many years ago when she started suffering from poor health. Up to that point she was working in international trade in a high profile job. Her change of circumstances, and her devout faith in Christianity, led her to start this organic farm on the outskirts of Beijing she claims. From farm to table, a restaurant in the centre of Beijing, Veggie Table, that serves organic food from Shared Harvest to clientele. Shared Harvest is an organic farm promoting the CSA / Community Shared Agriculture model. Since the program started in May 2012, Shared Harvest has developed and now posseses 66 acres based in Tongzhou and Shunyi Districts in Beijing, planting organic vegetables, fruit and grains and also breeding livestock.
